“We change our menu regularly” says Scott Tracey, owner and chef of Mudgee’s famous fully licensed restaurant “Wine Glass Bar & Grill” - “Cooking only the freshest of local regional produce and taking advantage of the seasons. Our style is truly “Cuisine du Terroir”- local regional cooking.

Our summer menu reflects the beauty and heat of the Tuscan style region in which we live, whilst our winter menus are a compilation of modern and hearty country cooking.

Spring menu’s of fresh lamb and fresh local goat cheeses, local olive oils and vegetables come together in a symphony of tastes.

Salads that are a joy to the palate, local venison dishes that are superb and our dessert menu reflects our Australian love of all things delightful.

Indulge in a leisurely morning or afternoon tea and reflect on friendships and life over a steaming cup of fragrant coffee or soothing cup of tea.

Weddings

ntroducing Scott Tracey and his team at The Cobb & Co Court Boutique Hotel, the ideal place to hold that intimate boutique wedding in your own private hotel.

Scott has found his home in Mudgee, with his family for the past five years. Scott advanced his career in the Sydney area, after completing his initial training at the Sydney Opera House; he followed the path of which most chefs’ do and travelled overseas, from Japan to London and throughout Europe. Making his decision that Sydney is one of the best places in the world, he acquired a position at the Hotel Inter-Continental where he finished as a Sous Chef for Tony Bilson in the Fine Treasury Restaurant.

Scott left Tony to take on a Head Chef position with Neil Perry at the Museum of Contemporary Arts at Circular Quay, where Scott co-ordinated the Café, Rockpool Catering & Special Events. Specialising in outside catering in some of Sydney’s major spots, including the Andy Warhol opening and Anzac Bridge Opening, of which there was 600 people enjoying fine food on the actual road of the bridge, also catering for over 800 people in the overseas passenger terminal.

Nothing holding Scott to Sydney, he was offered an opportunity to purchase the business of The Cobb & Co Court Boutique Hotel incorporating The Wineglass Bar & Grill. Scott has taken the Hotel, Restaurant and Service industry in Mudgee to the next level, having the foresight to cater for the future inbound Tourist & Local Community.

Realising Scott’s expertise and professionalism, has aligned themselves in the partnership to boost the Simon Gilbert Winery and Scott’s profile in the areas and to utilise a combination of great food to match Simon Gilberts great wine.

Scott Tracey is only a preferred caterer for Simon Gilbert Winery Function Centre, making it possible for you also to have a choice of caterer.
