Mudgee is really starting to become a destination for its weekend markets - there are the Church Markets on the first Saturday of each month, held right in the centre of town around the Anglican church (hence the name).

On the second Saturday of each month, picturesque Lawson Park, with its meandering paths along the Cudgeong River is the place to be to pick up a bargain.

And the following week, the Farmers Markets tempt all the senses with their array of produce ranging from farm-fresh fruit and veg to cupcakes, organic pork, wine, home-made jams, preserves and tapenades, fresh bread and more.  And to make the experience even more authentic, you can also participate in the regularly held “Farm Walks” - visit the producers, see how it’s grown or made, sample the wares and don’t forget to take some home with you for later on!

The fourth Saturday of each month sees the historic Mudgee Railway station as the setting for yet more markets - browse for a bargain, or visit Mandurah Studio in the station building for more locally made art, craft, jewellery and more.
